Hackinghava is in it’s new home
When I started this blog I set it up on blogger. I’ve been away from it for a while and now that I’ve gotten back to it I’m moving it to a WordPress blog. It may be a little rough for the next week or so as it gets settled in it’s new home.
The blog posts were more or less automatically converted but the images remain pointed to blogger. I’ll have to manually download them and edit the posts. Fortunately there are only a few posts with pictures.
That was more painless than I thought it would be. The hackinghava blog is now on it’s new server and everything seems to be working ok.
Hey man, I noticed that you haven’t posted anything lately. I was interested in helping you out. I too have two Titanium HDs. If we can get a dump of their file-system and their shadow files we can always crack their password hashes. Any way you could email me? I don’t expect you to get back to me right away, I know you’re probably busy.
We have access to the filesystem. See the post at Serial console and linux prompt for the password file entries. I ran “John the Ripper” on them on an old slower laptop I had sitting around but gave up after a while.
what hash type is it? 3des? des? I might have a spare mac pro to brute it
